Online Check-in FAQ

When can I check in online?

You can check in online from 2 hours after making the booking, until 8 pm on the day of arrival. If we have your email address on file, we will send you an email at 5 pm the day before arrival with a link to check in online.

Can I request early check-in?

Yes. During the online check-in process we ask you to indicate your arrival time. However, early check-in is not guaranteed. If you want to guarantee an early check-in, please contact the hotel prior to your arrival.

Why do I need to pay in advance?

We ask you to pay in advance in order to complete the entire check-in process online. This way, you will be able to save time on your arrival. We do not ask for any deposit online. If you wish to leave a card on file, you can do so at the reception at any point during your stay.

Is my online payment secure?

Yes, all online payments are safely powered by our partner Adyen and are 3D secured.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept debit card and credit card payments. We can only accept cards that support a 3D secure verification.

What data does the hotel store?

We store the same information through online check-in as we do when you check in at the front desk. The information we store is the same as you provide to us during the online check-in process.

How long is my data stored for?

The duration for which we hold your data depends on the applicable regional regulations of the country where you are staying, as well as GDPR requirements. If you wish to enquire more about your personal data, please reach out to us at [email protected].

Will I start receive marketing emails if I check in online?

No, you will not start receiving marketing emails automatically if you check in online. We will only send you marketing emails if you explicitly give your consent. You can do so by ticking the relevant checkbox. This option is available during online check-in when you fill in the guest details.

What happens if I arrive at the hotel early?

If you arrive earlier than the standard check-in time of 3 pm, please proceed to the reception. They will let you know if your room is available. If not, they will be happy to assist you with storing your luggage until your room is ready.

Digital Key FAQ

When and how can I receive my digital key?

You can receive your digital key on the day of arrival after 3 pm (or earlier if you’ve had an early check-in confirmed by the hotel). Please note that you need to be within 2 kilometres of the hotel in order to receive your digital key.

Can I have both a digital key and a physical keycard?

Due to security reasons, we can only allow one key per guest. If you have a digital key and want to opt for a physical keycard, please speak to our team at the reception. If you have a physical keycard and want to opt for digital key, you can log in to our app (Park Plaza Services) with your reservation number to get your digital key. Please note that once you have your digital key, your physical keycard will no longer be valid.

Can I share my digital key?

Yes, you can share your digital key with other guests who are registered in your reservation. The number of digital keys you can share depends on the number of adults in the booking. If there is only 1 adult in the booking, you will not be able to share your digital key.

What happens if I have a digital key and my phone is dead/stolen/locked in the room?

Please proceed to the reception, where our team will be happy to help.

What should I do if my digital key is not working?

Please check your phone and make sure that both Bluetooth and Location are enabled. Our Park Plaza Services app also needs permission to access Location and Bluetooth in order to unlock the door.

If you are using a wallet case or thick cover on your phone, please remove it as it can interfere with the Bluetooth connection needed to unlock the door.

If you continue to face challenges with your digital key, please speak to our team at the reception who will be very happy to help you.

Once a refund has been processed, it can take up to 14 working days to reach your bank account.

Dogs FAQ

Do you welcome dogs in your public areas?

Yes – just remember to keep them on a lead! If you’re ordering food from the main restaurant or drinking at the bar, you must sit with your dog in the areas stated on the welcome letter.

Am I allowed to leave my dog in the room while I go out?

If you are going somewhere else in the hotel, yes. Please put up your pet doorhanger while you are out to ensure housekeeping will not enter the room. Pets should not be left unattended in the room if you are leaving the hotel.

Is there a food/water bowls in the room for my dog?

Yes, we provide two bowls during their stay, one for drinks and one for food.

Where will my dog sleep?

We have comfortable beds for your dog to stay in, so your dog will sleep at least as good as you will! Each Park Plaza is different, so you will find different beds in each hotel.

Should I bring food for my dog?

Yes. You know best what your pet’s favourite snacks are, so we always advise to take anything you would give them at home with you for your stay. All our hotels have local shops around the area where you can find pet snacks and food.

What size of dogs are not allowed at the hotel?

All types and sizes of dogs are allowed, apart from breeds listed on the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, listed below

My dog and I would like to go and explore the city together, do you have any tips?

I am allergic to dogs; will I stay in a room where dogs stayed before me?

To ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, we have designated specific rooms for guests travelling with pets. This allows us to reserve non-pet rooms for those with allergies. If you have an allergy to pets, please notify the hotel in advance, and we will guarantee that you are accommodated in a room that has not been used by pets. Your well-being is our priority, and we are dedicated to providing a comfortable and allergy-free experience throughout your stay.

How many dogs can I have in my room?

You can have up to two dogs in the room.

Where is the nearest pet-relief area?

If you come out the hotel entrance, you will find plenty of areas to take your dog out.

What if my dog has an accident in the room?

It’s ok, mistakes happen. Just clean up as much of the mess as you can and inform us when you’re next passing reception. Please do not use the bath towels in the room to clear up their mess.

What if my dog damages the room?

There will be a fee for any damages in the room. This will be communicated to you by the hotel.
